Yielded Great Results
I would highly recommend Coach Archer’s services to families that are serious about football recruiting. He provides sound, balanced and actionable advice, as opposed to the typical unrealistic promises one hears. His strategy on content, approach and timing of communication with Coaches yielded great results for our son. Especially with high academic football programs, his first hand experience makes him the best resource one can have to discuss both athletics as well as academic matters. I can wholeheartedly say that having Coach Archer in our corner has been a great asset for our son.

Transparency and Openness
Hi Coach Archer,
I appreciated your transparency & openness about all things recruiting. My son was a rising junior at the time, so we were early in the process. Your overview provided a really solid understanding of how recruiting works at Ivies/highly selective schools.

Easy to Connect With
We recently met Coach Archer at the Marist Football camp that my son attended. At the time, he was only a freshman, so there was a lot to learn. We have put our son in many different football camps and travel leagues, but the Marist camp was by far the best because I met Coach David Archer at the parents meeting. Coach Archer spoke about the entire college recruiting process. I learned a tremendous amount of information and most importantly, how to help my son be a standout in an overwhelming pool of talented athletes. Coach Archer was very personable and easy to connect with. I left the meeting thinking that it was the most valuable session we have had yet. When I received a personal email offering a private zoom call with Coach Archer to discuss college recruiting, I jumped on the opportunity. Coach Archer took the time to ask each of us what we wanted to get out of the meeting and he addressed all of our questions intently. When my son told him what his dream schools were, Coach Archer went into great detail on what to do to get noticed by those schools. I felt he genuinely cared about my son’s process and offered some great advice and suggestions moving forward. With my son being a sophomore now, he gave us recommendations on how to continue focusing on his academics and course selections, but also how to approach coaches to raise the awareness of who my son is and his athletic accomplishments. It was invaluable advice I don’t think we would have received elsewhere. Meeting with Coach Archer was incredibly eye opening and gave us a great foundation to prepare for what we needed to do to get our son considered by the schools he is interested in. If you have the opportunity to work with David, I have no doubt you will appreciate his knowledge, expertise and advice. When the day comes that my son can say ‘committed,’ we will owe a lot of credit to Coach David Archer!!

Prepare to Interact with Coaches
If you are looking for a supportive yet honest conversation assessing one’s prospect student-athletic, you need to speak with Coach Archer. We attended two of his Camps last summer - at Marist and Cornell - and found him to be both attentive and enthusiastic in his interactions with attending campers. Coach Archer’s positive reinforcement at every corner of the Field showed his commitment to supporting the talent being displayed that day. His knowledge was again put on display as he was able to present his passion for the sport of Football when having direct conversations with the parents of the talent that day. The impression I had that day was here was a Coach who respectfully communicated the goal of the day: to play Football at that next Level. When I heard I had the opportunity to now sit 1-on-1 with this person, i jumped at this chance to get the personal attention of someone who could bring an in-depth process knowledge to my table. I found Coach Archer brought the same direct, thoughtful, and open traits when speaking directly with my son. He provided insight of what to look for, what to listen for, and how my high-school aged son can prepare to present himself to interact in this high-pressure world of recruitment. We came away from the conversation with a greater knowledge of how the process works. Thank you, Coach Archer!

Information No One Else Can Give
I first met Coach Archer at camp last summer. His camp was the single best camp we attended out of 9 camps. The parental info Coach gave while the boys were working out was the best info I had heard to date about Ivy League football admissions etc.
Of course I jumped at the chance to use his new consulting service for my son’s recruiting. I cannot stress enough how valuable this consulting service is!!!! Hundreds of pearls just by talking to him for an hour!!!
Coach will guide you through the academic requirements, the football side of it, and the finances etc. He gave us THE STRAIGHT INFO ON EXACTLY WHAT IVY COACHES ARE LOOKING FOR!!! He also gave us extremely valuable info on other FCS and FBS programs.
This service is by far the best money I’ve spent to date on recruiting. We have spoken with many other recruiters and services. Coach Archer quite simply blows them all away! He could easily charge double or triple what he charges for his service. I know he will be extremely busy with it soon when he goes fully live. He gives you info that no one else can give! Do yourself a favor and do his consultation. Coach is an honest straight shooter and really cares about the athletes.

Candid Talent Assessment
My son and I met Coach Archer at a Cornell prospect camp last summer. He held an information session on the recruiting process for the parents while the boys competed in the sweltering heat. I was lured by the air conditioning, but left incredibly impressed with Coach Archer’s depth of knowledge and willingness to share the inside scoop on a complex and often confusing process.
We jumped at the opportunity when we heard that Coach Archer was offering advising for football recruits. Coach Archer has already helped us so much. He conducted a candid talent assessment to help us understand my son's best and most realistic opportunities. He reviewed my son’s film and provided detailed feedback on how to optimize it to gain the attention of more coaches. He helped us understand the academic evaluation process at the Ivies and other high-academic football programs, and shared exactly where my son stands. He also helped us understand the most impactful ways to communicate with the college coaches.
The most helpful part was the insider perspective on exactly how the recruiting process works including what is happening on the other side and a timeline of what to expect from now until my son, hopefully, commits to a program.

Game Changer
As the parent of a rising high school senior who is passionate about football and aspires to play at the next level, we found ourselves navigating the complex and overwhelming world of the college football recruiting process in the dark. Despite some initial interest from schools, the lack of concrete and consistent opportunities left us feeling frustrated and unsure of how to proceed. Our meeting with Coach Archer proved to be a game-changer. Throughout the call, Coach Archer provided guidance that not only clarified the recruiting process but also charted a defined path for my son and me. We delved into the intricacies of the camp circuit, learning where to strategically focus our efforts for optimal results. One of the most enlightening aspects of our discussion was Coach Archer's emphasis on the academic side of the equation. He guided us in understanding how my son could find the perfect balance between his academic strengths and athletic aspirations.
For any parent or athlete embarking on the college football recruiting journey, I wholeheartedly recommend Coach Archer's expertise. His wealth of knowledge, personalized guidance, and insights on the collegiate level have proven to be an indispensable resource in navigating this process. We are grateful for the clarity and direction he provided, setting my son on a more confident and informed path toward achieving his football goals.

How The Process really works
David takes a comprehensive approach to recruitment. The advice he gave our son is invaluable.
Being a former head coach himself, David has the most appropriate information I've seen on the market. His knowledge and experience with overall recruitment, highlight film sequencing, course recommendations, types of schools to focus on, and best camps in the country were priceless.David is the complete professional. Our session with him was by far the best information we've ever received when it comes to recruitment and playing football at the next level.
David was totally honest with our family. We discussed the recruitment process and how it really works. We discussed topics that we've never even thought about. For that - I'm grateful!

Someone you can Trust
As the father of two HS football players (classes of 2023 and 2025), I've learned over the last 6 years that navigating the college football recruiting process is complicated and confusing. It's really hard to know who to believe and who to trust for good advice and guidance. HS coaches obviously play a key role, but it's really the players and their parents that need to be driving their recruitment and controlling their own destinies. There are plenty of recruiting services out there to help parents. Sadly, I have found that many don't provide a commensurate value for the cost - and it's hard to know who to TRUST. Quite frankly, some are just money grabs - where you pay for the allusion of access to somebody else's network or for access to email lists and X handles that you can get yourself. When Coach Archer reached out to help me with my younger son, I was excited to learn more about his services. After he explained his approach and pricing, it was a no-brainer for us to move forward. Even though we had a successful experience with my older son, Coach Archer was able to help us immensely, and build trust. He validated our game plan and approach. He had great feedback on the highlight film, and validated the level of play we should be targeting. He was able to explain the academic index based on real life experience from doing it for so long. He was honest, straight forward and credible when sharing his knowledge. I feel more confident than ever that we will be spending our time (and money) wisely with our spring junior days and summer camps. We will continue to leverage Coach Archer throughout the process, and I am confident that my son will land in a great spot.

Earnest and Sincere Feedback
It was truly a pleasure talking with Coach (Dave) Archer. He provided sincere, non-biased advice about our son’s opportunities as a collegiate student-athlete. Not only did he review our son’s academic transcripts, he gave us a candid assessment of his likelihood for success at the right college. This is a competitive, high-stakes landscape. Coach Archer’s insights proved invaluable as we navigate the path forward.
Coach Archer’s love of the game and commitment to students is evident. He is very earnest and sincere with his feedback. Great pointers and suggestions for interactions with coaches at camps, too! He is very responsive to our questions. All in all, a great experience!
Thanks coach!

Not Just for Football
Coach Archer is terrific! His knowledge of the athletic recruiting process is unmatched – and not just for football. We had many questions about the recruiting process for soccer in the Ivy League and NESCAC schools in particular and his insights were eye-opening. He clearly outlines the process, what to expect along the way, and helps demystify common feedback from coaches as well as the implications for next steps. But, equally important is his style and how he approaches his advising by keeping the individual student athlete at the center. He personally understands the hard work each of these student athletes have been putting in for years and that respect comes across in how he treats each conversation. He listens well to deeply understand the unique elements of each student athlete so he can give informed, honest advice. We learned more in our first conversation with Coach Archer than we had from hours of research, webinars, and even our own sports club. Thank you, Coach!

More Receptive to Advice
“Every parent who has gone through the recruiting experience with their child will tell you it is not a lot of fun. There are a lot of services out there supposedly to help with recruiting, but many of them are not, in my opinion, very reputable or helpful. Coach Archer’s service is different. As a Head Coach at an Ivy League school for over a decade, he has a unique insight into the recruiting process, especially at the “high academic” schools. I found his insight into the academic and football aspects of recruiting at these schools to be invaluable. He offered frank comments and honest feedback, and provided useful practical advice. I especially enjoyed having him interact directly with my son because I think it is important for him to be involved (and really, driving) the process. My son was much more receptive to Coach Archer’s advice about outreach than he has been when I suggested similar ideas! That alone was worth the money to me. I also really appreciated his feedback about a strategy for “camp season” this summer. Like so many parents, I just want make sure my son is doing the things he needs to be doing to obtain his goal of playing college football. I believe Coach Archer’s advice will help him achieve his goal.”
